Steven Schmitz has a private practice in transpersonal counseling, shamanic counseling, and dream work. Dr. Schmidt is an international professor, lecturer, and seminar leader on topics of transpersonal psychology, shamanism, and healing. He teached Shamanistic Psychology at Alef Trust. Steven was initiated into shamanic practice in 1974, and was fortunate to participate in a three-year Existential-Humanistic Psychotherapy training by Dr. Bugental. He is a past president of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology (ATP) and a board officer of the European Association of Transpersonal Psychology (EUROTAS).
