Martha is a freelance mindfulness teacher based in Cornwall, UK. She has a background in NHS community mental health teams where she designed and co-facilitated psychological interventions including compassion-focused therapy for people with psychotic symptoms, and an art and trauma psycho-education group. She was co-director of the ‘Health Integration Team’ for psychosis at Bristol Health Partners - an interdisciplinary think tank bringing academics, clinicians and experts by experience together to design research. She is passionate about reigniting our connection to Earth through embodied depth psychological approaches that weave inner and outer landscapes more closely together. She completed her MSc in Transpersonal Psychology, Spirituality and Consciousness studies earlier this year, focusing on the experience of immersion in nature after a bereavement. She loves spending time in the woods, hanging out in the yurt and foraging.
