David Furlong has been ‘psychic’ from a child, growing up in a family that believed in ‘spiritual healing’. Trained originally, in architecture and town planning, he became interested in spiritual seeking and development in his early twenties. He eventually met up with a group of like-minded individuals, and together they went on to establish The College of Healing in the early 1980s. He is the author of several books, including The Healer Within, Healing Your Family Patterns, Develop Your Intuition and Psychic Power and Working With Earth Energies. He has a Doctoral degree with the University of Sedona, USA, for his study on the ‘Shadow’ which formed the basis of his latest book Illuminating the Shadow (2016). For the past twenty-five years, he has been developing a system of therapy that uses a form of guided imagery and inner ‘voice’ dialogue to work collaboratively with the clients ‘Higher-Self’ in healing past trauma. He is currently a PhD student with Alef Trust.
