Thank you for your interest in contributing to The Alef Field and participating in our shared platform for fresh perspectives on evolutionary consciousness and transformational thinking. By sending a submission you understand and agree to our Submission Agreement and Guidelines.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions are currently open to members of the Alef Trust community (students, alumni and staff). Guest contributors are invited to send a proposal outline prior to submission.
Articles and creative reflections are arranged in 4 broad categories:
INSIGHT: Personal reflections, experiences, and transformational inquiry
——BOOK CORNER: introduce your writing, or contribute a review
——RESEARCH: academic articles
——PERSONAL STORIES: life experiences and reflections
HOLISTIC WELLBEING: whole person wellness and spiritual practice

CREATIVE: All online formats welcome

——PHOTO GALLERY
——POETRY
——MUSIC
ECO-COMMUNITY: Local & global initiatives, education, systemic change
The suggested word count is around 800 words, but shorter or longer is fine according to the nature of the piece.
Style can be either academic or non-academic, as long as it is well-written and engaging!
New content is preferred, although already published original work (eg from your blog) may be considered. If any part of your work has been published previously online, you must inform us and send the link.
All images must have an image credit specifying whether they are your images, reprinted with copyright permission, or non-copyrighted images from photo sharing sights such as Wikimedia, Unsplash or Pexels. (Photo: [name]). Images should be under 1MB.
Be sure to proofread your article carefully before submission, taking care of typos, grammatical errors, quotations, etc.
Upon acceptance, you will be asked to send a brief bio, up to 150 words with the option of including links to your website, publications, and social media profiles, and a JPEG photo.

Submission Agreement
By content we refer to all submissions, including but not limited to articles, images, artwork, audio and video material.
We reserve the right to determine whether content is appropriate and in accordance with this Agreement for reasons other than stated in this provision, and the right to remove the content at our discretion.
We reserve the right to review and edit the submitted content, or to ask you for revisions.
If your work is published in The Alef Field, you agree to grant us the right to publish excerpts/links in related Alef Trust platforms and communications media (newsletters, social media, etc), as well as Electronic Archival Rights.
You will retain ownership of the copyright in the content submitted, subject to the rights granted to The Alef Field in this Agreement. However, if you decide to republish this content elsewhere, you agree to include the following disclosure: “Originally published by The Alef Field at www.thefield.aleftrust.org”
Published content will not receive any monetary payment.
The Alef Field will include your bio, with the option of including links to your website, publications, and social media profiles. The bio can contain up to 150 words. You grant The Alef Field permission to use this in connection with the promotion of the submission and related works, unless you explicitly communicate otherwise.
You are solely responsible for any legal or other repercussions that occur as a result of your content posted on our site. We assume no responsibility or liability that may arise from your content. By submitting your article, you guarantee that it is your original work, and does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, or rights of any third party. You agree to inform us if it has been published in whole or part anywhere previously, including your personal website/ blog, etc.
Alef Trust takes your privacy seriously and deals with all personal information provided in a responsible manner that respects personal privacy and is in full compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998-2018 (DPA) which applies the standards of the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will only use your personal information to contact you directly for the purpose of your collaboration with The Alef Field.
